History of the University: This University holds a great deal of importance nationally, not just because of the important personalities attached to it. The methodology of teaching at this university is entirely different from that of universities elsewhere in the country. While it has been modernized over the years with state of the art infrastructure, it still maintains the tradition of holding some classes outdoors, under the shade of a mango tree. The university is split into multiple different institutes, each specializing in a specific field of study.
Arrival Shantiniketan by Train/car. After your arrival here, you will be taken to your hotel to get the ball rolling on the check-in process. Once that is sorted out, head over to your room. Having your lunch. After that visit Visva-Bharati University, Uttaryan Complex, Ballavpur Deer Park, House of Amartya Sen etc. Evening return to hotel/ Resort for dinner & overnight stay at Resort
After early Breakfast visit Shalbani, Palashbani, Viswabharati campus, Prakitibhavan museum, Kankalitala Sati Pith Temple &Kopai River. Then proceed to Sonjhurihaat it’s a shopping heaven. Every Saturday & Sunday on the banks of Khoai River. It's an open-air market with tribal items. Lunch ar Restaurant. Evening return to Resort. Dinner at Resort. Overnight stay at Resort.
